Family & Farm Festival 2023

 Tom and Mary Jane King represented HOVB at the 2022 Farm and Family Day in Blackstone on 11 Sept 2021.  The weather was beautiful and with lots of fun for families.  The HOVB tent was very popular with over 100 visitors for the day.  Most were children. They were all very interested in the bees and asked many questions. Many thanks to Tommy for providing his observation hive.  We used a nice brood frame and a honey frame in the hive.  The observation hive was a big draw and brought in many curious children and adults.  There were about three of four adults that were very interested in joining HOVB.
